I am often asked what has been your most memorable drive throughout your safari career. When posed this question my mind often jumps back to the day in Kafue National Park when this photograph was taken. We watched as this female leopard rested deep in the shadows of the tree canopy surveying the woodland floor. Below two lions were feasting on her kill that she had not had time to take up into the tree and moments later a large bull elephant walked into the scene to forage on the nearby brush. Three of Africa’s most iconic mammals all gathered together under one tree in one of the continents most remote places and we were the only people for many kilometres to witness it – incredible.
