When spotting this male lion walking in complete darkness with a thermal imagining scope one January morning, I did not think he would walk so far. He walked through the thick bushes and over the ridges and as the sun began to tip over the horizon, he marched majestically out onto the open plains.
Nothing excites me more as an African wildlife photographer than to see a beautiful male lion walking across the plains at first light. Let it not be too long before the next one.
